My foot is asleep. Yup, right now, just as i am typing this out, it's happily snoozing under the dining table. I mite have to use my left foot to give it a kick so that it'll wake up.

It's 12.41am for god's sake. I know i should not take it too lightly because it's quite uncomfy la.. But iIt's not like it's a disease or something, y'know..i just think that somehow, for some ungodly reason, there is a lack of blood circulation in my right foot. Either that or it is just lacking in attention. At least it doens't turn purple on me.. haha..

I sprained this ankle about 2 years ago and it was getting a lot of TLC. You know la, with a sprained ankle and all, there were plenty of massages, ointment put on it, basically for a period of time, my foot was priority..But now that my job has assumed priority in my life, it's like being a baby la and just throwing tantrums at oddest hours, causing me to be in severe discomfort at times.More entertaining still with stories of my right foot is the fact that my 3rd and 4th toe criss-crosses each other whenever i use my right foot to apply sudden pressure on something. Where my job bores me, my limbs entertain me =))

There was a time when i was in the ladies locker room in the gym. I was bare feet at that time and i used my right foot to press open those "step-to-open dustbins". Problem is, that darn dustbin is made of metal. So i had to apply pressure on it to have it open. Guess what.. my 4th toe went over my 3rd toe and my foot was just left there. I couldn't move it. Darn.. some ladies were looking at me in a weird manner. Like hellooo.. did i look like a "Please throw your rubbish in the dustin while i hold it open for you?" kinda advert? I'm in pain damnit!!

And then there's always that more entertaining story about when my right foot went to sleep just after a shower. I was in a position where I couldn't turn to reach for my towel, but at the same time, i can't move my feet enough to turn the shower back on... and it's so not funny standing naked in the shower with a foot happily snoozing. It was like waking ME up... Wert, 10am? ohh... okay.. ZZZZzzzzZZZZ"
Now i truly understand my mum's frustrations.
